Greetings, I work in a state government agency as a licensed Civil Name Visible on Login. I was born and raised in California, and my preference is someone (of any background) who also grew up in America.

I'd like to discuss what I'm looking for in a partner because that is a reflection of my own values and principles.

* Vegetarian / Vegan: I would like a partner who sincerely believes that vegetarianism/veganism is a good thing to do; I prefer somebody with an understanding of the "harm reduction" philosophy.

* No smoking, drinking, or vaping: I do not want these abusable substances in my life, and I'd like a partner who feels the same way.

* Living with family in the... more Sacramento area: I live with my parents and older brother in Northern California, and I would like to maintain this living arrangement even after marriage. Taking care of parents is important to me, and my ideal (if we can get a big enough house) would be to live with my parents and in-laws.

* Compassionate: In my opinion, much of the world's problems stems from selfishness. My ideal partner would be empathetic to others, and her compassion would not be limited to people who just look like her or act like her.
