I'm Name Visible on Login, a believer to whom faith in Christ is the foundation of my identity. I'm originally from Bangalore, India and moved to US for my masters in 2011 and then to Austin in 2013 for my first job and since then Texas has become my home. Currently i reside in Dripping Springs where i've put down roots, blessed with a single family home.
I consider myself to be someone who's biblically rooted and striving to lead a Christ centered life, surrounded by a close knit community of believer/s. I attend a non-denominational church in South Austin and am an active participant in few of the small groups where in depth study of a book of the scripture is undertaken. In my free time i tend to listen to sermons or theological discussions on platforms like Desiring God, Ligonier, G3, Grace to You - John Piper, RC Sproul, John Mcarthur, Voddie Baucham are some of the men under who's tutelage i've been exposed to reformed... more teachings.
Intel, Austin campus is where you'd probably find me on the weekdays - i work on designing microprocessor chips. I was fortunate enough to have my GC priority dates become current in 2020 resulting in AOS EAD getting processed (no longer dependent on H1).
Family:
I'm the only child - recipient of undivided attention from my parents while growing up which had its pros and cons. My father is no more, he passed away in 2022 and my mother lives in Bangalore by herself - she is self sufficient in all respects.
Biblical view on marriage:
- Being a Christ follower is to stay faithful to Christ till our time on earth inspite of ups and downs and the same parallel applies to marriage; stay true to the covenant made before God (treat marriage with a permanence view)
- As Christ presents the body (church) before the Father, a similar parallel applies to the man to present his family before God
Lifestyle:
I make it a point to stay active through strength/weight training at my local YMCA. I enjoy meal prep - cooking, baking helps me de-stress while also aiding in planning for the week.
