I am born in Switzerland. I have done my Masters in Computer Science at the University of Berne. I am a successful Application Architect working at IBM as a consultant for a insurance company in Berne.
At home I grew up in an Indian environment, otherwise I was always around the Swiss people. As such, I describe myself as a mixture of different cultures. I love to visit India to meet my relatives mainly in Delhi or learn more about my roots and travel around. But I am also very open to other cultures. Currently my goal is to learn more about the Asian culture. I believe in traditional values, but also have a very modern approach towards life.
My hobbies are watching movies/series, going out with friends (cinema, billard, playing board/card games and occasionally drinking something) and cooking different kinds of cuisines. I go every week to the gym. I grew up with tennis, table tennis, badminton, football and skiing. At the moment,... more I play badminton and tennis with my friends occasionally. I am very fond of water sports. I do sailing on lakes, but my goal is to get a permit for the sea. Furthermore, I also want to learn scuba diving sometime in the future. I also started learning salsa dance for about one year.
My parents have been living in Switzerland for the last 30 years. My dad is a retired telecom engineer and my mum is teaching Hindi in a Swiss school as a part time job. They are very broad minded people. Friends and Family are the most precious things for me. Every year I go minimum on one holiday with my parents. Mainly we do sightseeing holidays. I have also gone on sailing/snorkling and houseboat holidays with my friends.
I am looking for someone, who is a family person and well educated. She must be open for new things, so that life is more exciting and enjoyable.
