I grew up in Jaipur and moved to the US in 2018. I am now a professor of Marketing at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

Apart from work; I enjoy cooking, acting (theatre), indian classical music, exploring different cultures, meditating, working out, cosmology, and outdoor activities such as trekking.

I am artistically inclined and although I am ambitious by nature, I do value work-life balance.

Education:

I did my PhD in Behavioral Marketing in the business school at Cornell University. I also completed Masters in Management from Cornell University.
I have corporate experience of 5 years. I was a founding team member of OYO Rooms. I have also worked as a researcher at IIM Bangalore and have done B.Tech. in electrical engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2012. My father and mother live in Jaipur. My father retired from Rajasthan government. I have one brother who is a data scientist in... more Bangalore. He is 3.5 years younger to me and has completed his engineering from BITS Pilani, Pilani campus.

My mother is an equity trader.
