About Me

I would describe myself as a jovial, confident, caring, easygoing guy with a good sense of humor. On the professional front, I am quite ambitious and career-oriented. I graduated with a Bachelor's & Master's in Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Gwalior in 2016. Thereafter, I came to the US to pursue my Master's and Doctoral degree (Ph.D. - Doctor of Philosophy) in Computer Science. I graduated in December 2022 and joined Amazon as an Applied Scientist in New York City. For the most part, I am working remotely so I am open to relocation (especially to Seattle or Sunnyvale, CA). On the research side, I have published many research papers at top-tier conferences/journals that have been cited 300+ times. Also, I have 2 patents to my name. Apart from work, I like to travel, try new restaurants, movies, caffe-hoping, driving, and follow technology, politics, and more... more recently personal finance. I am good at all house chores and can cook reasonably well too except roti. My green card application (EB-1B track - for scientists and professors) is under process and expect to get PR in less than 2yrs. At this point, I am working on H-1B visa.



My Family
We are a progressive, open-minded, upper middle class family based in Ghaziabad (U.P., India), for well over four decades. My father retired 1 year ago as a Chief Manager in Finance at a PSU under the Government of India. My mother works as a senior executive at a pharmaceutical company. My younger sister pursued Master's in Management from ESMT Berlin and is working as a Product Manager for a software firm in Berlin, Germany. Recently, she got married and is now settled in Berlin.



Partner Expectations
Looking for a lively, happy, independent and understanding partner who *intends to settle in the US*. It will be great to have someone who is optimistic, possesses traditional family values, has a zest for life and a growth mindset. Someone who likes to explore different places. Will prefer to have someone who is already studying/working in the US (not a hard constraint). She should have her own unique perspective/beliefs and at the same time should be open to having rational discussions.
