Sometimes, your soulmate lives right around the corner and you don't even know it!! Both of us were still single, and tired of looking for someone through tradtional methods, so we registered on Shaadi in 2006. One of us being Muslim, and the other Hindu, we were looking for partners of our own religion, but seeing each other's photographs was the start of our love story. Being attracted by the photos, and finding out that we lived in the same city, we got in touch and started talking. After a series of emails and phone calls where we discussed the complications of a mixed marriage, we met, and the rest is history. The engagement happened within weeks, and we were married in 2007. 2008 has brought us an even bigger blessing with the birth of our first child. Thanks to Shaadi for being the instrument of our meeting, and we hope that many other couple out there are similiarly blessed. May all good things come to each one of you every day.
