Hey Shaadi.com, We would like to say a huge Thanks to the team over at Shaadi. Kalpesh had a premium account and got in contact around August / September 2014. We can't remember precisely when. I'm based in the UK, and he's based in New Zealand. I wasn't using my profile actively, I was checking in on it maybe once a week. He looked cute off his profile photo so I accepted his invite to connect. We stayed in contact but we weren't sure it would develop into anything more since he lives on the other side of the globe! We had things in common though. I had plans to visit NZ so we checked in with each other every few weeks just to say hi and so forth. Anyway fast forward to maybe January 2015 and I went ahead and booked my flight to New Zealand as a friend of mine is currently living and working out there. Kalpesh and I planned to meet for a drink, so we did, and we hit it off. He gave me some of the best dates I've ever had and we took a road trip around NZ too. It's now November 2015 and he proposed to me a couple of weeks back before he left to go back to New Zealand after he came to visit me. We have set the date for May 2016! Long distance relationships are a challenge but we can't wait for the wedding day & to make the move! Thanks so much to the team over on Shaadi!
