Apoorv and I met on Shaadi.com in the mid of August 2017. Thereafter, Apoorvs mother contacted my father and our contact numbers were exchanged through our parents. Apoora is settled in Canada and I live in Delhi, so the first time we spoke on the 26th August 2017 was on a whatsapp call and the first call between us lasted for over an hour. We knew since the day one that there was something between us but we still wanted to meet each other to know each other better before deciding on marriage. We spoke everyday over whatsapp, messages, video/audio calls etc. Both of us couldn't resist talking to each other even for a day since our first call. Apoorvs parents settled in Modi Nagar (Uttar Pradesh) visited me and my family in Delhi in the last week of October 2017. It was a really pleasurable meeting between the two families. In December 2017, Apoorv came to India and we met for the first time in Delhi on the 12th December 2017 at my home along with both families and we gave our decision in the affirmative for our marriage. We had came so close to each other over the past few months that it didn't seem that it was our first meeting. We exchanged gifts as a token of informal commitment ceremony between the families on the 16th December 2017 at my house. On the 20th December, 2017 we had our Roka Ceremony along with both sides of the family, relatives and friends. I cant express my happiness to have found my life partner in Apoorv and the his lovely family who loves me like their own daughter. Our wedding date is fixed for the 27th June 2018.
